Perth Wildcats
The Perth Wildcats are an Australian mens professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). The Wildcats are the only team in the league representing the state of Western Australia and are based in the state capital, Perth. The Wildcats play their home games at Perth Arena, known colloquially as "The Jungle".

Cairns Taipans
The Cairns Taipans are an Australian mens professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). The club is based in the North Queensland city of Cairns. The Taipans, named after a species of venomous snake native to Australia. The Taipans play their home games at the 5,300 seat Cairns Convention Centre (CCC), known as "The Snakepit" within the NBL, and play in orange and white colours.

New Zealand Breakers
The New Zealand Breakers are a New Zealand mens professional basketball team competing in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). The club is based in the city of Auckland, New Zealand and split their home games between the 4,400 capacity North Shore Events Centre (NSEC), known as "The Breakerdome" within the NBL, and the 9,300 seat Vector Arena where they play select games against higher drawing teams as well as all finals games due to the higher capacity.

Sydney Kings
The Sydney Kings are an Australian mens professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). They were the first team to win three consecutive championships in the NBL. The Kings play their home games at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Haymarket, New South Wales. Since the Kings moved to the SEC in 1990, the venue has been known as "The Kingdome" during Kings home games.

Melbourne United
Melbourne United is an Australian professional basketball team, competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). As of the 2014–15 season, the team splits its home games between the 7,500 seat Margaret Court Arena, the 10,500 seat Hisense Arena and the 3,500 seat State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), known as "The Cage" within the NBL.

Adelaide 36ers
The Adelaide 36ers (also well known as the Sixers) are an Australian professional mens basketball team that competes in the National Basketball League (NBL). The 36ers nickname comes from the fact that the Colony of South Australia was officially proclaimed on 28 December 1836.[1] They play their home games at the Titanium Security Arena in the suburb of Findon, known as the "Brett Maher Court" within the NBL.

Townsville Crocodiles
The Townsville Crocodiles are an Australian mens professional basketball team based in the North Queensland city of Townsville. They compete in the National Basketball League (NBL) and play their home games at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre.

Illawarra Hawks
The Illawarra Hawks are an Australian mens professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). They won the NBL championship in 2001 and finished as runners-up in 2005 and 2010. The teams home venue is the WIN Entertainment Centre (WEC), known as "The Sandpit" within the NBL.The Hawks are the only remaining NBL club to have competed in every season since the leagues inception in 1979.

Brisbane Bullets
The Brisbane Bullets are a professional basketball team that competed in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) from 1979 to 2008, and are set to return to the league in 2016. The Bullets won three NBL championships during their first run in the league, being successful in the 1985 and 1987 seasons, and again in 2007. They also competed in the 1984, 1986 and 1990 grand finals. The team reached the playoffs 21 times in their illustrious 30-year history.
